Walt Disney World Discounts - Theme Park Tickets

Generally speaking, there are very few discounts available on park tickets.  That said, comparison shopping among some of the ticket wholesalers may result in some meaningful savings.

Step 1: Start at the Source

Price out several package options on the official Walt Disney World site (http://www.waltdisneyworld.com).  It's good to try prices on a stand-alone basis and as part of a package.  Ticket options can vary and may include the addition of water parks, a "no expiration" option on multi-day passes, park hopping (the ability to visit multiple parks within the same day), etc.  (For Trip planning basics - visit our "Basics" page here).  You may also download a "rate" sheet put out by Walt Disney World press relations here (to get an idea of where prices start).

Step 2: Compare the Wholesalers

Authorized ticket wholesalers can generally offer customers a few percentage points in savings over the standard full price Disney rate.  Be wary of offers that seem too good to be true - they generally are.  Stick with the authorized resellers below and you should be ok.

Step 3: Consider Other Ways to Save

1) Florida Resident Ticket Options

 - Residents of Florida have access to discounts on WDW tickets through the Walt Disney site.

2) Corporate Sponsors

 - If your company is a major corporate sponsor/partner of Walt Disney World, contact your Human Resources department - chances are you'll have specifical access to discounts

3) Hilton Honors Points

 - Members of Hilton Honors can trade points for tickets.  Visit http://www.hhonors.com for more information
